PA EDINSTVO has a status of the regional public association and exercises its activities on the territory of Gomel and the Gomel Region in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Public Associations”, other acts of effective legislation and present Articles of Association.
The main goal of PA EDINSTVO activity is to support the development of private enterprise and market economy policy in the Gomel Region.
The basic objectives of PA EDINSTVO are:
1. Render assistance to the market reforms, formation and development of non-governmental economy sector.
2. Exercise comprehensive support to the efforts made by governmental and local authorities aimed at development of favourable conditions for business undertakings. Participate in development and realization of regional governmental programs on private enterprise support.
The methods of PA EDINSTVO activities are:
1. Conferences, seminars, including the sharing of experience, organization of traineeship of PA EDINSTVO members.
2. Researches, analysis of public opinion and statistical data in the sphere of private business undertakings.
3. Organizational and practical work on attracting the foreign investments into the region economy.
4. Cooperation with Territorial Committee on Private Enterprise and Investment, with public associations having similar goals and objectives.
5. Popularization of PA EDINSTVO goals and objectives in mass media.
